Government Polytechnic Satpuli, Pauri Garhwal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Government Polytechnic Satpuli, Pauri Garhwal, is one of the affiliated colleges in the picturesquely located village of Malethi, Satpuli, within the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. Established in 2006, this technical institution is duly approved by AICTE and works for the objectives of quality education in the field of Engineering. The institution is situated on a vast 11.91-acre campus, and currently, it is offering only one diploma course with a total enrolment of 71 students. The strength of faculty is 4, and thus the college has a very appreciable student-to-teacher ratio, providing better individually attention and care to the students.

Several modern facilities of different types have been provided in the institution to make the environment at the institution conducive and up to date for the teaching-learning process. The creative and innovative hub of information services is the College Library, which spreads an area of 1000 square feet. Equally impressive is the IT infrastructure with a computer lab fully equipped with more than 20 state-of-the-art computers—desktops and laptops—connected to high-speed internet. Wi-Fi connectivity covers the whole campus, and thus students can access online resources from any corner of the campus. 

Government Polytechnic Satpuli is currently running one full-time diploma program in Mechanical Engineering. The three-year course has an approved intake of 30 students per year. The program is targeted to provide students with a strong foundation in principles, practices of mechanical engineering, and to prepare them for successful careers in industries or further studies in fields of their choice.

Admission to Government Polytechnic Satpuli is based on merit. Applicants for admission must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics, JEEP, conducted every year by Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee.
