Government Science College, Idar is a Government affiliated college of the city of Idar in the state of Gujarat, was established in the year 2008. The establishment focus is more on providing science education through its B.Sc program. Government Science College, Idar, has a vibrant, stimulating atmosphere for studies and those who want to make a career in the field of science. It has a student enrolment of 604 students with 6 faculty members.

The institute possesses a number of facilities that support the academic program followed by the students. The library becomes an ideal resource center for books in academics as well as in reference works. Laboratory facilities are extended for several scientific streams to learn them practically.
