Government Vivekanand College situated at Maihar is an affiliated college and is at present located in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh started in 1973. Covering an area of 0.57896 Acres it is an accredited campus of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college provides 19 courses in 7 degree programmes for 4321 student enrolment as a whole. The college has modest faculty strength that comprises of twenty-one members and the college continues to pursue quality education in all disciplines.
