Gramin Mahila Mahaivdhyalaya, Sikar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Gramin Mahila Mahaivdhyalaya, Sikar was established in 2003. National Institute of Health is affiliated as well as recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised and authorised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located in a 0.33-acre compound, the college provides 12 courses under 6 degree programmes to fit every learner’s area of speciality. This institute has total enrolment of 1,333 of students and 35 faculty members for the focused learning environment of the students. The college offers different faculties resulting from its specialisation in Arts, sciences and Education for both undergraduate and post graduate level.

The Gramin Mahila Mahaivdhyalaya has facilities which aim at giving a better education experience to its students. The college provides in its campus well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology which provide much practical or rather application oriented knowledge. A large library with a capacity of accommodating 5000 books and journals is used as a source of materials, perforational and online. The college also has Computer facilities for the improvement of information technology skills, sports facilities for physical education and girls hostel for out station students. Also on the campus there is a dispensary, cafeteria and the internet connection is available in the whole campus.

Gramin Mahila Mahaivdhyalaya provides a wide course list of different disciplines. The institute offers 12 courses out of which all the course offered at the institute are full time. These are undergraduate courses offered in the institution including B.Sc- Mathematics and Biology groups, BA, integrated B.Ed and the post graduate studies they offer which include MA and M.Sc in various fields. This is Some of the reasons why Delta College is counted amongst the best colleges which consist of specialised integrated programmes include; BA B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed etc as they offer doses of education along with the teacher education. For the total number of seats and the number graduates taken in recent past is not clear but the total intake capacity of the college in terms of number of students is 1,333 which shows how much this college has been contributing to the educational sector of the country.

The admission procedure at Gramin Mahila Mahaivdhyalaya is also entrance based; affiliation with marks in the entrance examinations. After transitioning to the discretionary composite courses, the admission maybe based on entrance tests or other such processes in line with the state government /University standards. This is perhaps evidenced by the fact that the college only admits female students. Scholarships as such do not figure in the list but since the Institute is government-affiliated student scholarships that are attached to state and central government are probable.
