Guru Hargobind College of Education, Ludhiana was established in the year 2010 It is one of the most popular colleges giving teacher education facility in punjab. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the college offers only one course – B.Ed. With a total of 187 students being admitted and faculties strength of 16,necessary student-teacher ratio is kept in institute so that each and every of them is focused and provided with proper education.

Guru Hargobind College of Education has a number of facilities that are intended to complement students during the period of learning. A well-stocked library embraces reference section books and encyclopedias with an accommodation of one hundred and forty-five thousand, two hundred and twenty-five books out of which six thousand, two hundred and forty-five are reference books.
