Guru Nanak college Dhanbad was started in 1970. It is situated in Bank More Dhanbad Jharkhand. This affiliated college situated in a 5.3 acre area has been duly accredited by the NAAC and NCTE approved college according to the NCTE. It has 3,238 students and 32 faculty members; the college has 11 courses under six degrees of study. It has 57% female students, and 43% male students; 60% of the students are from within the state while 40% of them are from other states. Guru Nanak College is famous for numerous courses offered by it in the discipline of Commerce, Arts, computer application, teaching and many more.
