Guru Ramdas Khalsa Institute of Science and Technology, Jabalpur Jabalpur (GRKIST), the most sought campus of central India, was established in the year 1997. This affiliated college is placed in Kukri Kheda, Barela, Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh with approximately 35.2 acre of campus area. GRKIST is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has proved its quality in different engineering streams. The institute takes a total of 269 students and has a faculty of 55  faculty members, embracing 15 courses in three degree programmes most of which are in the engineering and technology disciplines.

Several facilities at GRKIST improve the learning interface to allow the students located at the institute to obtain their education. For training purposes, the campus is fully equipped with practical training laboratory facilities, adequate library facilities to support academic needs, and Information Technology facilities to meet the rapidly changing technology. For students who need accommodation for various reasons, the school offers facility for boys and girls has hostels. They undertake to also hold a health centre where first aid is provided to the students of the college. The numerous sport facilities are also accessible to sports enthusiasts for their use. In addition, it has an auditorium for any events, seminar and other purposes, cafeteria to serve the refreshments, and transportation facility for students and staff those who traveling on the Institute transport.

GRKIST provides almost all the courses for all the level of education ranging from the undergraduate level up to the postgraduate level. There are 6 B.Tech programmes, 1 M.Tech programme, and 7 Diploma courses offered in the institute which helps the students meet their interest and career goal. The B.Tech programmes offered comprise Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and one of the newest AI and Data Science Engineering. For the postgraduate studies, the institute offers an M.Tech in Thermal System and Design Engineering. The diploma courses offered in engineering disciplines offer students hands-on experience and academic knowledge.

The admission to GRKIST is mostly based on scores of the national level entrance test. B.Tech programmes located and admissions are done through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE MAIN) Main for both online counseling organised by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The admission in M.Tech is done based on GATE score and DTE counseling is also considered. Where seats are still available after reason code 0106 counseling admissions may be offered based on 10+2 examination merit for B.Tech courses and BE examination merit for M.Tech courses. Admission in the institute is properly planned and organised to enrol the most suited candidate for respective courses.
