Guru Ropan Sikshan Sewa Sansthan Mahavidyalaya affiliated to the Jalaun Uttar Pradesh established in the year 2010. The institution has an area covered with 7.272 acres and has been developing ever since its commencement. Presently the college is conducting 6 courses in 4 degree programs with a total strength of 304 students and faculty strength of 20. Specializations available in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Commerce and Education ensures that quality education in the streams of both science and commerce is ensured. There are also various facilities that the college offers to enhance students' learning experience.

A library well-equipped with resources acts as a hub of knowledge and is supported by departmental laboratories that help to achieve practical learning experience. An auditorium well-equipped with all modern facilities hosts a large number of academic and cultural programs in the campus of Guru Ropan Shikshan Seva Sansthan Mahavidyalaya. For students interested in sports, there is a large playground along with athletic facilities, badminton, volleyball, and kabaddi. Guru Ropan Sikshan Sewa Sansthan Mahavidyalaya offers a wide range of full-time courses against diversified academic interests. The institute offers 6 undergraduate programs, including B.Sc. It provides degree-level courses in Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry (Hons), as well as B.Com, B.Sc, and B.Ed. Except for the B.Ed. course, which is a 2-year program, all these other courses are designed to be completed in 3 years.

Admission into Guru Ropan Sikshan Sewa Sansthan Mahavidyalaya is course-specific. In the case of most undergraduate programs, admission shall be on a merit basis and will be determined based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. However, there is a slight departure regarding admission to B.Ed. Admissions to B.Ed., according to the policy of the college, are based on merit, which includes marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. It also accepts any other selection process as mentioned in the policy of the state government, U.T. Administration, and the university.
