Guru Vashishth Mahavidyalaya, Gonda was established in the year 2010. It is an affiliated college located in Mahewa Nankar, Mankapur, Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. Spanned over 3.08 acres, this institution has a student enrolment of 1,294 and offers undergraduate programmes. The college imparts three kinds of degree courses viz. BA, B.Sc and B.Ed. This college, with a faculty strength of 10 members, lays its emphasis on quality education in an encouraging atmosphere.

Guru Vashishth Mahavidyalaya, has several facilities helping students to enrich the college experience and pursue their academic interests. Separate hostels for boys and girls provide comfortable accommodation to students coming from outside the local area. The admission procedure is mainly on merit basis as per marks secured in the qualifying examination only in Guru Vashishth Mahavidyalaya. The College may also take into account performance in entrance examinations or adopt other selection procedures for some courses, as per the policies of the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliating University. By this procedure, the meritorious candidates get an opportunity for admission to streams of their choice.
