Gurukul Bharti College of Education, Bilaspur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Affiliated to Shri Shankaracharya University of Arts, Science and Commerce, Gurukul Bharti College of Education, Bilaspur was set up in 2011 and is a co-educational college of teacher education. The affiliated college is set at Benla Brahmana, prominently situated in the Himachal Pradesh; this college is approved by the NCTE or National Council for Teacher Education. The physical plant comprises approximately 0.6573 acre and the institution currently has one hundred and ninety-nine student heads. There are a total of 6 members in the faculty and this ratio of student and teacher is very convenient and helpful to students as well as improve educational standards. 

The college has offered a number of facilities in order to support the enhanced learning of their students. There is also a full sports room equipped with different gear for use in different sporting activities. 

Gurukul Bharti College of Education provides only one course to its students that is Bachelors of Education (B.Ed). It is a two-year course, run on a full-time basis, although students can attend it on a part-time basis, and the approved number of students is 100. The B.Ed program aims at producing professional teachers and educated persons with knowledge needed in the teaching profession. That the college offers only this kind of degree shows that it prepares well equipped educators that can contribute immensely to the teaching profession.
