School of Applied Science, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, is a progressive unit with the commitment to produce scientific expertise as well as ideas. This constituent college of Suresh Gyan Vihar University was founded in the year 2003 and it has been providing education in applied sciences for twenty years now. The school is situated in one of the most energetic and colourful cities in the world, Jaipur and it is providing various number of undergraduate, postgraduat, and doctorate programmes in different areas of sciences. 

School of Applied Sciences students get to enjoy the various facilities such as modern well equipped laboratory to improve their learning process. The campus has well endowed practical laboratories that offer practical experience in different fields of science. A large and well-equipped working library provides students with an array of books, journals and electronic sources needed in their progress. A fully automated bar coding system and multi media facilities also put the library among the largest and best equipped in Asia. In relation to recreational activities and general health, the university has two functional gym, one of which is an open-air gym, with fitness instructor always on service. It also provides camp like comfortable hostel accommodation for the male and female students from towns and other places of residence.

The School of Applied Sciences provide a broad spectrum of programs within almost all scientific fields. On 12 courses of 3 degree levels students have numerous opportunities to follow their choice and achieve success. It offers full term programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate, as well as doctoral levels of learning to facilitate the educational requirements of the society. The courses are M.Sc in Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, PhD in Botany, Chemistry, and sp pn. 

The admission process at the School of Applied Sciences is as aggressive as possible to be firm and merit structured. Interested Students can apply for admission through the Suresh Gyan Vihar University Entrance Examination (SGVUEE), Class XII or Graduation Merit and interview. The school also provides admission based on national level entrance examination like CUET UG for undergraduate programmes and CUET PG for postgraduate programmes. Also, it acknowledges other competitive exams such as GATE, GPAT, UGC NET, and CSIR UGC NET in order to widen the opportunities for the interested learner.
