H K College of Pharmacy, Mumbai: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

H. K. College of Pharmacy, one of the premier institutions as of 2006, was set up in Jogeshwari West, Mumbai. It is an affiliate, specialist college approved by AICTE and PCI that offers education in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The campus of HKCP measures 1.5 acres and houses a total of 287 students and 28 faculty members. It teaches under the institute's curriculum structure two-degree programs: a 4-year B.Pharma and a 2-year M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics, both offered only by full-time modes. 

The College has the following facilities to make the students' learning more resourceful. The library comprises a stack of 8,171 books, out of which 7,712 are for B.Pharma and 459 for M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics) students with 2,274 different titles. The infrastructure is fully equipped, air-conditioned, and well-maintained, with a computer laboratory of 50 branded workstations having unlimited Internet facilities along with Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus. In addition, HKCP maintains good laboratories equipped for various pharmaceutical disciplines, and practical education is thus assured.

The H.K. College of Pharmacy conducts two courses in total, and both are full-time courses. B. Pharma has an approved intake of 100 students, and M. Pharma in Pharmaceutics can accommodate 15 students. The programs are custom-made to provide the students with integrated knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical sciences, making the pursuer competent for an array of roles in the respective industry. 

H.K. College of Pharmacy is competitive and merit-based, and for the B.Pharma course, admission occurs on the basis of MHT-CET. A good performance by the student in this will enable them to get admitted. In the case of M.Pharma Pharmaceutics, one is supposed to have a valid GPAT score. These entrance exams make sure the pharmaceutical college gets students that have a good foundation and an aptitude to become pharmaceutical scholars.
