Haflong Government College was founded in 1961 and has an excellent record as one of the leading institutions in Haflong, Assam. This co-educational college is affiliated with Assam University, has served more than six decades, ushering the academic activity of this backward region. The undergraduate level includes courses like BA Course, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Commerce with various honours specialisation. It offers Master of Arts in Political Science and History under the postgraduate category.
