HAL College of Science and Commerce Nashik was set up in 1986 The college comes under the umbrella of Savitribai Phule Pune University and is an affiliated college situated at Ozar Township of Nashik District of Maharashtra. This institution caters undergraduate and postgraduate courses under science and commerce streams focusing on its 2.499 acre of land. HAL college is a small college with current enrolment of 295 students and 12 members on the faculty side. The college offers three full-time degree programmes: We are currently offering Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Master of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Commerce to learners who want to pursue careers in technology and commerce respectively.

HAL College of Science and Commerce includes a broad array of amenities intended to improve students’ stay. It is equipped with a fully computerised system and Internet connection, which supports an open access facility with group of books, journals, newspaper and educational CDs etc. In computing the institution has two computer laboratories fully equipped with 32 network computers operating on windows XP and LINUX operating systems. These labs are preloaded with software including MS Office, Visual Studio, and Oracle, three programmes that give the students real training at the current technological advancement. Moreover, the college also carries electronics and statistics laboratories for practical purposes among the college learners. For academic discourse and any other seminar purposes, there is a seminar hall backed with technology at its best.

HAL College of Science and Commerce in total provides three courses and all of them are of full time basis. In the B.Sc Computer Science programme the admission capacity is 80 and in the M.Sc Computer Science Admission the capacity is 30. The B.Com programme is also offered with no statement on the intake capacity of the programme . These programmes are intended to ensure students can pursue further education and or careers in their fields of study of choice within technology and commerce.
