Hello dear student

Greetings

College is average but faculty  of the college is good. The faculty of the college is fine. You get the best faculty for every stream. They are Highly qualified from reputable institutes.Few of them lack experience, interaction and teaching quality. But you need to depend on yourself rather than on teachers. Your concepts and understanding are far more important. The faculty will provide you all the help and support available. They provide ample of resources for the students as required by them. The central library has a wide number of collection of books. Students get better lab facilities.

Thankyou

Hello,

If you want to drop another year for JEE - Main it should be totally your choice because only you know your caliber in studying. If you think you can increase your marks then you should drop another year but if you don't you can get into Haldia Institute of Technology. HIT is not at all a bad institute, it has a good placement score with many companies visiting the campus regularly. The fees of HIT is also not very high so if you go to this college it won't be a waste.

All The Best.

Hello Ab,

According to me, taking two years of the drop, and investing 2 years of your precious life just chasing an exam, is not a wise exam. You may consider any private engineering college for an undergraduate degree. Or go with what you have. IT depends on your ability to code, not on which college you belong to. For a computer engineer, there are vast opportunities after B.Tech and there is also an option to apply for off-campus, placement. All it depends is how you code.

Hope this Helps

Regards

Hello

Dont drop 1 more year for engineering in India it isnt worth it, you should take admission in Hit Haldia IT branch it is a decent college and one of the oldest in West bengal you should definately go for it and after that do masters from a good college like IIT in that way you wouldn't waste your time and money.

Hope this helps.

Hello aspirant, both of teh Colleges are quite reasonably similar to each other in the concerns of education and opportunities a college provides to their engineering students. You can choose computer science engineering in any of these colleges. All the very best.

Hello Addi,

Below I have provided the required details about both the colleges -

Haldia Institute of Technology :

  • The college is a private college and was eshtablished in the year 1996. The campus is about 37 acres with about 248 faculty people.
  • The college is affiliated to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology and also has been accredited 'A' grade by NAAC. The college is also ranked at 147th position among engineering colleges by NIRF.
  • The college has the facilities like boys and girls hostel, gym, library, cafeteria, medical/hospital, wifi, alumni association etc.
  • As far the placements are concerned, a B.E./B.Tech students gets a average package of 3 Lakhs.

Muzzafarpur Institute of Technology :

  • The college is a public/government owned college and was eshtablished in the year 1954. The campus size is about 55 acres with 42 faculty people.
  • The college is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University.
  • The college has the facilities like boys and girsl hostel, gym, library,medical/hospital, gues room, bank facilities etc.

Now according to me Haldia Institute of Technology is the best when compared to Muzzafarpur Institute of Technology. The former has better facilities, better teaching experience, comes under a good ranking of MHRD and the placements are also good.

Hello,Aspirant

Well if you’re talking about the comparison of going whether to Haldia Institute of Technology(HIT) and Techno India(TI), you must come to know about some of the facilities and consequences you get with respect to both the colleges.

  • Academic: Techno India does have a strictfulness of having an attendance giving you less opportunity to getting exposed to what you really want to work upon, which you might get well in HIT, though they’re strict about attendance too, but the help you’d be getting here from the faculty and seniors, you might not be able to experience there.
  • Accomodation: HIT has it own hostels for boys as well for girls with all facilities of dining as well as basic requirements within the college premises, which is not provided in TI, so atlast you end up residing in some PG which may or may not have the facilities.
  • Fees: Talking about the fee structure, it’ll be quite cheaper compared to the other colleges under the WBUT, HIT’s fee structure is quite simple you need to pay for per semester only for the education, or plus if you’re residing within the campus premises, then add the hostel charge too for the sem(6 months), as well as the mess bill which you need to pay monthly for the food you eat, you’ll be charged on that perspective. You can also stay outside for rent and have the other facilities of having homely food, and yeah it’s just walking distance from the college. :-)
  • Placements: As we know, the placement sphere is not going well especially for engg. colleges around India’s most of the private colleges, the core branches get to suffer as there’s a lot of competition among them and less opportunities, IT sector have a less worry on this as they could easily placed.

Hope it helps.
