Hargobind Khurana School of Life Sciences, Silchar, is one of the constituent colleges of Assam University established in the year 1996. The institute has a niche for itself in the Silchar, Assam region as an institution of learning in life sciences. Currently, the school is offering 10 different courses at three different degree levels: undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level, mainly in the areas of Microbiology, Biotechnology, Botany, and Zoology.
