Haringhata Mahavidyalaya, Nadia: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in the year 1986, Haringhata Mahavidyalaya is one of the prominent institutes of higher learning located in the Nadia district of West Bengal. Since then, this affiliated college under the University of Kalyani with an enrolment of 3,152 students and a faculty strength of 14, this college offers 16 courses under three degree programs. Haringhata Mahavidyalaya is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an indicator of quality education imparting through it. 

At the hub of these facilities is the outstanding central library which houses an extensive collection of text and reference books. The library is technology friendly, offering computer-based book searches and Wi-Fi enabled reading rooms. Haringhata Mahavidyalaya provides a big playground for sports lovers and organises annual sports meets. The college has achieve awards in the form of running shields at district, university, and state levels for excellence in football and athletics. 

Haringhata Mahavidyalaya offers a full range of wholesome courses, and that too with most of its peers being undergraduate courses only. The main streams to which 16 full courses are dealt with in this magnitude include Arts, Science, and Commerce. The college offers a host of specialisations in widely divergent fields such as Bengali, English, History, Geography, and Commerce, which caters to a whole lot of academic interests.
