Haryana College of Education, Safidon: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in the year 2008, Haryana College of Education, Safidon (HCE), is one of the affiliated colleges of Jind district situated in state Haryana. This college offers teacher training education which is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. The college is located near the New Bus Stand, Rampura Road. The college runs one-year, full-time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Program with the annual enrolment of 95 students.

The institution has several facilities to foster its educational mission. Apart from the ICT and computer laboratory, which is well equipped with 20 computers, the 'hub of the institution,' that is, the library, consists of over 4,500 copies of textbooks, 10 NCTE-recommended journals, and 10 magazines. It's supposed to provide facilities related to current awareness as well as photocopying and Wi-Fi internet services. The college also has a few other distinctive facilities in the form of state-of-the-art educational technology labs and science and mathematics laboratories, where the teaching practices are carried out and effective lesson plans can be prepared.

At present, the Haryana College of Education, Safidon, runs one main course i.e., the Bachelor of Education program. B.Ed. is a course designed for students who have a desire to make their profession in teaching. The course is meant to develop pedagogical skills in students. This B.Ed. program is one of the main courses offered by the college; however, the college is a well-rounded campus with various facilities and practical exposures to provide the students with a good educational experience.

The entry to Haryana College of Education, Safidon, shall be strictly on the basis of merit. The selection process adopts the policy of the state government, U.T, and the university specifically toward the performance of the candidates in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
