Hazi A.K. Khan College, located in Hariharpara, Murshidabad district of West Bengal, is an affiliated college established in 2008. The institution, spread across a 1.82-acre campus, has different undergraduate programs in Arts and Humanities. With a total student enrolment of 945 and faculty strength of 11, the institution provides a focused learning environment. Hazi A.K. Khan College offers 8 courses across 2 degrees, namely, Bengali, English, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Education, and Geography. 

Enabling students to have a rich learning experience, the college manifests itself through a number of facilities. The college Central Library is situated on the second floor of the Annex building. Equipped with about 8,000 books, journals, and periodicals, the library service has recently introduced Koha library automation software to upgrade its services. Geography laboratory: Well stocked with maps and topographic sheets besides a number of surveying instruments, the place enables hands-on learning by the students. For the convenience of students, the college runs a canteen providing subsidised meals. The institution also promotes physical education and sports by organising coaching camps and preparing teams for inter-college tournaments.

Admission to the Hazi A.K. Khan College are fully online and purely merit-based. While preparing the merit list for honours courses, due weightage shall be given to the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination including the marks for the subject for which the student is seeking admission or any related subject.
