HCET or Heera College of Engineering and Technology was started in 2010 and is an affiliated college in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Situated in a 30 section of land of the land, HCET provides various streams of engineering recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute as of today comprises of 602 students and has a team of 58 members of faculties.

HCET was approved for six full- time B.Tech programmes out of which all are of a duration for four years. The student enrolment in the institute stands at 602 in all courses offered in the facility. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering course has the highest number of intakes with 120 seats while the second is B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering each taking 60 intakes.
HCET follows the admission criteria depending on the ranks or marks of KEAM examination or JEE Main examination. These examinations are the nationally recognised entrance exams whereby the college assures student quality with appropriate background knowledge in Science and Mathematics.

Heera College of Engineering and Technology is located in Panavoor, Nedumangad with a lush green, scenic, sprawling 30 acre campus providing the best learning experience. It offers courses in Civil engineering, Computer science engineering, E&C, E&E and Mechanical engineering. It is affliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram and is also affiliated to AICTE, New Delhi. Fee structure is affordable, faculty is supportive and friendly and good hostel facility is also available. Placements are not bad and has been improving every year, with companies like Allianz, Bridgestone, TCS have hired students from the college. Overall, it's a decent option to choose among engineering colleges in the region, so you can definitely go for it.
