HICT Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya, Gwalior: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

HICT Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya is affiliated college located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh which was started in the year 2006. This institution occupies a rather small piece of land; 1.41 acres are allocated for the campus. It is NAAC accredited and NCTE approved offering quality education in teaching faculty. With a total enrollment of 115 students and a faculty strength of 16, HICT Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya offers a personalized learning experience across its three specialized education programs: B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.Ed.

This college has several amenities aimed at enhancing education delivery and all round development of student. An equipped library acts as a university and its library plays a central role offering the necessary information for those who aspire to become educators. The campus has areas that are set aprt for sports and recreation to ensure that the student develop on their fitness and team work. To meet the contemporary demand of education, the college has fostered appropriate and efficient use of IT hence the efficiency of students in matters concerning the use of IT in education. 

There is emergency health facility such as first aid within the health center to handle short term complications. It also has departmental laboratories which provide practical experiences essential to teacher training within the college. The canteen services area is created with a purpose of facilitating relaxing and social break after a hard working or studying session for both students and staff.

HICT Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya provides limited program specialization involving only three full time courses in education for the trainers at varying stages. B.Ed and D.Ed programs has an intake capacity of one hundred students but M.Ed program has an intake of fifty students only. This increases the total cumulative student enrollment to 250 students for all program offerings. These courses are intended to prepare students with adequate competency and Standards in the field of education; starting with the primary education levels and to higher levels of education.

Candidate admission at HICT Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya is done according to the merit they produce in the qualifying exams or entrance tests. Admission into the college is in compliance with the required ever-changing policies set by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh and the affiliated university. B.Ed programme entrance is done through the university’s/colleges qualifying examination cut off and state level entrance examination. 

The M.Ed program also functions under an academic score criterion and may ask for an entrance test as per the norms in the university. The admission for the D.Ed program is also on merit as per the prescribed rules of selection formulated by the state government. Scholarship specific information is apparently not available, however, it is anticipated that the college operates under the existing government provisions to provide education aid.
