Hilful Fuzul College of Education and Research, Howrah came into being in the year 2016 with the sacred objective of moulding the future of learning. This co-educational college at Olanpara, Howrah district of West Bengal, is an affiliated institution approved by NCTE. Having an area of 0.88 acres, the college runs two special courses presently in education with a total enrolment of 76 students. The college has a faculty strength of 20 experienced teachers to maintain an excellent student-faculty ratio for individual attention and quality teaching.

The college normally admits students according to the admission policies enunciated from time to time by the State Govt. of West Bengal and the affiliating University. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in the typical B.Ed course include a bachelor's degree in any discipline along with the minimum prescribed percentage, as laid down by the regulatory bodies. In D.El.Ed course, candidates have to pass the higher secondary education 10+2 with required marks to be eligible.
