Hirwal Education Trust Hirwal Ratra Mahavidyalaya, situated at Raigad, Maharashtra is one of the dedicated educational institute which was started in 2009. This affiliated college occupies a relatively small plot of 1.24-acre of an area, which makes it suitable to provide a highly conducive learning environment. The institute is still young and currently has only 12 students enrolled and it is aided by five members of the faculty. Hirwal Ratra Mahavidyalaya provides three undergraduate programs: It also offers programs such B.Com, B.Sc, & BA in Culinary Arts to meet different learning needs. This college is a budding college hence the need to deliver quality education as expected by Mumbai University.

Taking in the best college facilities in terms of promoting student’s experience and academics, the following are key amenities. The library is fully equipped with both technical and referral books as suggested by Mumbai University that greatly enhances the students’ over-all develop-ment. ‘M’ shake modern laboratories for physics, biology and chemistry offer opportunities for practical and practical experience in line with the colleges’ policy of practice. IT structure provides student with essential technologies providing them with ability to meet the technological demands in their future lives. In regard to do with health, the college has provision for sports and gym realizing that the body has to be fit for the health of the mind. An auditorium is used for events and seminars, but it also creates a strong campus community. The college also avails service features including canteen services, an adequate parking space as well as dormitory facilities for teaching staff and visitors including family members thus enhancing comfort[19]. 

Out of them three are Under graduation courses which are full time day courses with a duration of three years. The B.Com program is for students in business management field and the B.Sc course is for those students who are interested in scientific field. The employment of the BA in Culinary Arts is completely out of the norm, and it serves any students eager for the culinary arts well. Unfortunately, broken down details regarding intake numbers of specific courses are not obtainable; however, the student intake for the entire college is 12, which means that all classes are small enough to encourage hands on student-teacher/instructor activities.
