Hirwal Education Trusts College of Science, Computer Science and Information Technology, Mahad, was established in the year 2009 under the Hirwal Education Trust is already emerging out to the gem of higher education institute in Maharashtra. This affiliated college established in Chambharkhind, Mahad on Mumbai-Goa Highway occupies a narrow area of 2.475 acres. This institution provide four undergraduate programmes, BMS, B.Sc Computer Science, Information Technology and B.Sc with total of 239 students. The college has 21 faculty members and thus the college has an even better students-teacher ratio that help students a lot and offer them quality education. Recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) the college is a glowing example of the institution’s focus on education. 

The college has a host of resources that seek to improve the academic environment as mentioned below. Its rich library has good number of technical and referral books approved by Mumbai University students look up to.
