Hitkarini Prashikshan Mahila Mahavidyalaya at Jabalpur was set up in the year 1969, This is a women’s institution offering education in the stream of Education. This affiliated college is situated at Garkheda, Jabalpur (M.P.) C.P. – Civic Centre Marhataal The college has got NAAC accreditation with B+ grade and NCTE, New Delhi recognition. 

The institute occupies a campus of 2.51 acres and it provides B.Ed program and total sanctioned intake is 194. Today, the college is comprised of 16 faculties and remains primarily an undergraduate institution with one full-time course. Hitkarini Prashikshan Mahila Mahavidyalaya is self-financed and recognized by the Department of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh Government and affiliated to Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.

Students in this institute have an array of amenities with which they are trained and moulded to be.] These include a computer laboratory, a language laboratory for skill development and internet access in the college. Smart classes improve the quality of the learning process; and Library are stuffed with textbooks, reference books, journals, e-resources etc. To meet the physical needs of students the college has provided exercises and playing fields indoor and outdoor. 

There is also a canteen available for the students on the school compound where food is affordable, and the nutrition value is recognized. The college also has hostels for female students to create an adequate living habitat for them. We have facilities of health in campus where first aid care and minor health complaints and ailments are treated at reasonable charges.

Hitkarini Prashikshan Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jabalpur offers one undergraduate course: Carting a two-year full time B.Ed program. The total number of approved intake for this course is 100 seats only. Specifically it enables the institute to strategically direct its resources in the provision of quality teacher education. The B.Ed program aims at producing professional teachers who will be fit for the job market to deliver on the task of educating the learners.

Admission to Hitkarini Prashikshan Mahila Mahavidyalaya is done on merit score acquired by the student in the qualifying examination and/or in entrance test.
