Matoshree Taradevi Rampure Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is one of the reputed pharmacy colleges in Karnataka in southern India which was started in the year 1973 is by the HKE Society which in at kalaburagi. It was established as co-educational affiliated college offering a large number of pharmaceutical courses recognised by PCI. The institute has total 48 faculty members and provides facilities to the undergraduate as well post graduate students. Currently the institute offers education to 288 students: 62% male and 38% female. The total programme portfolio of the HKE Society’s Matoshree Taradevi Rampure Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is twelve courses, spread across four degree programmes to address a range of levels of pharmaceutical education. It offer full time courses such as Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.), Masters in Pharmacy (M.Pharma.) with different streams, Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharma.D.) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). The self-financed B.Pharma program has a student intake of 100 and the D.Pharma program has 60 students admission every year. , the intakes in various shrunk to fives in some instances to as many as fifteen for postgraduate programmes such as Masters in pharmacy or M.Pharma in different specialisations. The Pharma.D has a total of 30 first-year students while the Post Baccalaureate program has another 10 openings.
