HLM Girls College, Ghaziabad, was started in the year 2004 as an all-female affiliated college in Uttar Pradesh. This institution is set on a compact 1.25 acres of campus with the aim of dispensing quality teaching-related education. The college is approved by NCTE. With a total enrollment of 278 students and a faculty strength of 15, it provides a concentrated study environment in HLM Girls College. Currently, the college is offering two professional courses in education that help aspiring teachers and develop a tradition for empowering women through education. 

HLM Girls College has a varied range of facilities to enrich the study experience for its students. The library of the college is the main focal point of academic resources. It has a stock of more than 9,500 books with 1,522 titles, 326 reference books, and 15 journals. It also subscribes to encyclopedias, national journals, and periodicals. The atmosphere in the library is congenial for serious study. The laboratories, including the Psychology laboratory well-equipped with various aptitude and intelligence tests, are amply equipped. For informational technology requirements, the college has an ET Lab with computers, printers, and internet connectivity. The physical development of the students is looked after through sports facilities where a large playground is available for playing football, volleyball, and cricket. It also takes care of health and wellness through medical facilities, first-aid services, and regular health checkups. 

At the academic front, HLM Girls College offers its teacher education programmes. The institution offers two full-time courses: a Bachelor of Education and a Diploma in Education; both have a duration of two years. The two courses are fashioned to turn out candidates for a teaching career with both theoretical and practical knowledge. 

The admission process to HLM Girls College is quite competitive and structured. For the B.Ed. course, applicants shall have to qualify in the Joint Entrance Exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Department. This ensures that only the qualified and motivated students are admitted to the course. D.Ed. admission will be on merit, based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy prescribed by the state government.
