HMKS and MGS College of Engineering, Kanagala, is a premier college in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, established in the year 2009. Located in a peaceful environment, the college is co-educational with an affiliated college status to the All India Council for Technical Education. The college offers various engineering programmes to the new students. With 57 faculty members who are highly dedicated, HMKS and MGS College of Engineering provides quality education over several branches of engineering. At present, the institute offers 7 courses in 2 degree programmes with a major focus on the areas of engineering and technology. 

HMKS and MGS College of Engineering is provided with all necessary facilities to assure a fulfilling learning process of their students. A wide range of academic resources and reference materials is available in the library, which serves as the knowledge core. Well-equipped modern laboratories for different departments allow students to have practical experience and garner practical skills. In addition, the information technology infrastructure in the college is excellent, making sure that students remain connected and in touch with the latest tools of technology. The college provides various types of sports facilities for students inclined toward sports and other physical activities, assuring a healthy balance between students' academics and extracurricular activities. 

HMKS and MGS College of Engineering together offer 7 full-time courses: 5 B.Tech courses in Civil, Electric and Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, and 2 Diploma courses in Civil and Electrical and Electronics. The B.Tech courses are spread over 4 years, whereas the Diploma courses lasts three years. The intake capacity of the students in each of the B.Tech courses is 60, and that of the Diploma courses are 30 students. That makes a total student intake capacity to be 390 across all the courses offered by the institute in a single academic year.
