For B.E. and B.Tech Programs:

Degree wise Admission Process

Programs for B.E.: Several options for B.E. programs are offered at Holycross Engineering College which includes Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The admission procedure for all B.E. programs is through the TNEA Counselling Scheme. The approved intake for each programme is 60 students; however, in the case of Electrical and Electronic Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering, the approved intake was restricted to 30 students.

Programs for B.Tech: Besides the B.E. programs, the College also offers B.Tech programs in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science as well as Information Technology, each with an intake of 30 students. Admission for the above programs is according to the same process as for B.E. programs through TNEA counseling.

The M.E. program: The admissions are through TANCET scores or any other entrance exam recognized for admission to M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with an intake of 18 students. Candidates are further selected based on the entrance exam score and B.E. percentage.

Lateral Entry: Holders of diplomas may be admitted to B.E. degree programs under the Lateral Entry scheme, entering directly into the second year of the four-year degree program. The college invites applications from users who are able, and allocations are made based on merit and the reservation policy.
