Horizon College of Physiotherapy, Nanded: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Horizon College of Physiotherapy – Nanded is the most recent college established in the year 2021 with major focus delivery of health care education especially in physiotherapy. This co-educational institute, SRTM University, Vishnupuri, Nanded, Maharashtra, is an affiliated college and offers specialized based physiotherapy program. With a faculty norm of eight persons, the college claims intended to foster one to one interaction with the students. Currently only one program, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is offered with an approved annual intake of 50. 

The college has various facilities that can accommodate academic programs and other activities to the betterment of the student. The library is useful to students since it avails them textbook, journals and other relevant research documents in physiotherapy. In addition to bedrock theory, the College has embarked on departmental-based laboratories to ensure students undergo practical experience and training. In view of the fact that health is wealth the institute provides sports amenities for the members of faculty, staffs and students to enhance their physical health. Eligible students can get the following services from the school, hence convenience; with adequate parking space on the compound. The college also offers a student health with a health center complete with first aid to make sure that students are attended to by medic as soon as possible when the need arises. 

Horizon College of Physiotherapy is exclusively affiliated to BPT course which is a four-year, full time course. It provides an advantage of a specialized approach by focusing its resources and strength in offering quality education on this specialized area. Currently the admissions of BPT programme are pre-approved for 50 students, thereby offering the candidate an efficient environment that caters to the need of those who wish to make physiotherapy their career. 

The admission of student into Horizon College of Physiotherapy involves a basic process which is based on merit. Prospective students wishing to join BPT course must passed through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test under Graduate (NEET UG). NEET UG is a national level entrance test for admission to First B.U.M.S, B.A.M.S, B.D.S, B.H.M.S, B.V.Sc & AH, B.Voc (Paramedics), etc, Allied Health Science and physiotherapy courses. The candidates interested in pursuing the mentioned medical courses must follow the NEET UG examination schedule. Through NEET UG qualification, the college is confident of admitting properly equipped students with credits in the basic sciences without which the physiotherapy won’t be effective. Horizon College of Physiotherapy is still at its infancy; it has made it its key aim to be a pioneer in the physiotherapy education in Nanded.
