HASS AMH established in 1954, situated at Hubli, Kamataka is one of the most popular institute of Ayurveda Education & Health care center named as Hubli Ayurved Seva Samiti Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya & Hospital. Situated in Hubli, Karnataka this is an affiliated college situated across a 5 acre area of land. Affiliated to the Central Council for Indian Medicine CCIM, head along with an authorized strength of 408, HASS-AMH currently imparts 12 courses in four degree programmes. The faculty of the institute includes 42 members for a proper education in any field related to Ayurveda. As a center for traditional and modern education and practices, HASS-AMH has grown to be a major producer of knowledge on Ayurvedic practices in the region.
This institute makes available almost all necessary provisions that can enhance student’s performance as well their overall human development. The campus comprises of different dormitories for the male and female students with able warden to maintain discipline and security of the hostel. A neat and well-stocked library stocked with both national and International books and other resourceful materials is a treasure chest for students and faculties. Al amenities of the college also include good information technology facilities so that the students can keep pace with the innovations in IT field. For all sorts of healthcare problems there is a first aid facility within the compound of the university. Other facilities include a substandard cafeteria that sells nutritional meals at reasonable prices, an SEZ auditorium for business occasions and educative seminars, adequate laboratory facilities for practical purposes, sporting equipment for recreation, and lodging facilities for guest faculty and students’ relatives.
HASS-AMH comprises a large variety of Ayurvedic courses with undergraduate and postgraduate levels of education. The biggest programme offered is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), which is a six year full time program with a strength of 60 students. At post graduate level the Institute offers variety of programmes in MD and MS each programme having a duration of three years. They include MD in Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, MD in Ayurveda Samhita Siddhanta, MD in Panchakarma, MD in Kayachikitsa, MD in Rachana Shareera, MD in Roganidana Avum Vikriti Vigyana, and MS in Shalyatantra. The college also offers the Doctor of Philosophy in niched areas of operation including Kayachikitsa, Shalya Tantra, Ayurveda Samhita Siddhanta, Rasashastra to enhance the research of Ayurvedic sciences.

It is mandatory for aspirants to fulfil certain eligibility conditions to get admission to BAMS course. Some basic BAMS eligibility criteria are mentioned below.
Candidates are required to pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with science subjects ( Physics , Chemistry and Biology ) and English core in both Class 11 and 12 from a recognised board.
He/she should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission.
An aspirant from the general category needs to secure an aggregate of 50% in their Class 12 Board examination. While, for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the qualifying percentage is 40%
Candidates need to have qualified NEET by securing a minimum qualifying cutoff percentile to get admission in BAMS course, which can be checked in the table below.
For foreign students, any other equivalent qualification approved by the University will be allowed.
