ICAT Design and Media College, Bangalore is a premier industry-focused institution formed in 2003 that offers industry specialised Design and Media education. Situated at 424, Bommanahalli, Hosur Main Road, Bangalore – 560068, is having a wide course offering original in animations, game designing, VFX, multimedia and much more. ICAT being an affiliated college offers 22 courses offered across four degree levels with an option for various specialisations in the creative field. The college also delivers Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) in Animation and Multimedia Design, Interior and Spatial Design and Graphic Design. For post graduate education, ICAT offers M. The admission policy at ICAT Design and Media College can be said to follow the process of selecting talent in creative fields. The interested candidates easily apply through Internet or within the campus with an application fee of Rs. 1000/- each. The portfolio submission is the last step of the process, although it is not obligatory and, when completed, can greatly increase the likelihood of getting selected. Candidates are then issued an E-Call Letter for an aptitude test and for a personal interview. 

The selections are made using portfolio, aptitude test scores and the interview performance the students in the selected course. The last process includes settlement check whereby students pays for the first year fees and undergo a combined orientation program.
