Located at Kalyan, Maharashtra, this affiliated college was established in the year 2008 and is one of the premier institutions for pharmaceutical education. Ideal College of Pharmacy and Research has approval from the Pharmacy Council of India, thus reflecting a concern for quality education. The college is situated on a vast campus of 7 acres, where two streams of courses in the field of pharmacy are conducted and a total enrolment of 247 students. The institute has a faculty of 20 experienced persons, hence it ensures a very healthy ratio between the number of students and teachers.
The facilities available at the college are quite impressive, which really help the students in gaining much better learning experiences. A well-equipped library with a spacious reading room and stock of a wide range of books and journals is the knowledge hub. Ideal College of Pharmacy and Research, offers two regular courses: four-year B.Pharma and two-year Diploma in Pharmacy. The approved intake for each course is 60 students, thus totaling 120 seats for both programs. These courses emphasize delivering advanced knowledge and practical skills in the field of pharmaceutical sciences so that the students emerge as successful professionals in the fast-changing healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
The Ideal College of Pharmacy and Research, admission process is designed with the aim of fairness and merit-based selection. The admission to the B. Pharma course is primarily based on the Central Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. The college accepts the MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) score for admissions. The Minority category students can directly approach the College with their CET scorecard, 12th standard marks sheet, and other necessary documents required by DTE and the University of Mumbai. These admissions shall be based on inter-merit in the CET examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.
