They will be given an understanding of the general policies through which the government is trying to advance innovations and startups in India, the link between economic development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and public policies, and the important concepts, institutions, and terms that can help them take advantage of the policy framework.
The framework of this course comes from the 'Start-up India' program of the Government of India which aims to develop a robust eco-system for furthering innovations and start-ups that will encourage economic growth and employability. They will be capable enough to analyze the start-ups of different countries and the ecosystem of innovation.

Participants will be given a course certificate for the Innovation and Start-up Policy course by Swayam only if they secure a minimum of 40 percent in their weekly assessment and 40 percent in their final exam. If their final score is between 40 percent -49.99 percent: Grade D, the final score between 50 percent -59.99 percent: Grade C, a final score between 60 percent -84.99 percent: Grade B, and a final score of 85 percent and above: Grade A will be given.

It will be a computer-based examination. Participants have to appear at the allotted exam center and show their Hall ticket and any government photo identification card for verification. The type of questions may include multiple-choice questions and fill in the blanks.
