IKON Nursing College, Bangalore: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

IKON Nursing College was started in the year 2004 and is a renowned institute located at Bangalore focus on providing quality nursing education. This affiliated college is situated at Bheemanahalli on Bangalore-Mysore Road and the area of this college is 31200 square meters. With INC affiliation, IKON Nursing College includes a multitude of different nursing courses that will suit any future healthcare worker. Presenting a small size and strength with the total student intake being 285 and a strong faculty force of 30, the college espouses an environment that is friendly for students specialising in different forms of nursing.

The IKON Nursing College has a host of facilities meant to complement the academic process in the learning institution. State of art laboratories which offer practical experience with modern equipment with direction from qualified staff. A good library is an information center that should provide many types of books, national and international journals, magazines, and periodicals. Being one of our fundamental needs, IKON Nursing College hosts a boy’s hostel and a girl’s hostel for all students who seek accommodation. IKON Nursing College has a total of eight courses for Four degrees and all of them are full-time degrees. Their list of course includes General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), B.Sc Nursing ,Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing with many specialisations. Total approved intake of the college for all the programs is 285, thereby signifying that the college has the ability to prepare large number of nursing professionals in one intake. 

The admission process is normally rigorous and has to be free and fair at IKON Nursing College. However, the procedures on how to apply for admission are not expounded but can be a procedure that involves use of forms, then admission on the basis of merit or whereby a student is required to write entrance examination. The college welcomes admission application to its different nursing courses among them being the B.Sc Nursing, GNM and the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. IKON Nursing College aims to develop technical knowledge nursing human resources, therefore the College also has Training & Placement Cell to manage session with organisations for coming to the college to select the graduating students.
