The Imperial College of Engineering and Research, Pune is the most popular institute in the city. It was established in the year 2006 and is an affiliated college at Wagholi, Pune. To a great extent, it has risen in the area of providing engineering education. The campus spreads over 2.5 acres, which gives ICOER Pune its various courses in Engineering and Management. The total student enrollment by the institute is 2,453 and it has a faculty strength of 194 dedicated professionals. ICOER, Pune was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, suggesting higher levels of academic excellence.

Various amenities are provided in the college for making up a friendly atmosphere for all students during their course of study. The campus has well-equipped laboratories for Microwave Communication, Power Electronics, Signal Processing, and Microcontroller Labs in the various engineering streams. In terms of hostel facilities, ICOER Pune has two separate hostels meant for girls; each hostel is self-sufficient with a common kitchen, mess unit, etc. These hostels are provided with basic amenities, solar water heating systems, and internet connectivity. Health and wellness: The campus has on-campus medical facilities, along with a regularly visiting physician and a 24x7 ambulance. Besides, ICOER, Pune has signed an MOU with Lifeline Multispecialty Hospital to offer health services at concessional rates. Physical fitness: With a significant emphasis placed on teaching a healthy lifestyle among the students, the campus has a well-equipped gym that may accommodate 70-80 students at any time. Other facilities include fields for football, basketball, and volleyball, along with courts for badminton and throw-ball. It also has a table tennis and caroms hall. This is supplemented with a state-of-the-art library, Wi-Fi connectivity, an auditorium for symposiums, seminars, and other events, and a canteen that provides refreshments.

ICOER Pune offers 10 courses across 3 degree levels: BE, ME. The institute offers a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate programs with full-time courses in engineering and management.

The admission process varies from course to course at ICOER Pune. Undergraduate Courses in Engineering: BE The candidate should have scored in JEE (Main) Paper I or MHTCET. Postgraduate Programmes in Engineering: ME The candidates should have a non-zero positive score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology. For the Programme of MBA: A candidate should have a non-zero score on the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Competent Authority (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET). The admission is based on scores in national and state-level entrance exams, namely, JEE Main, , GATE, CAT, MAH MBA CET, and MHT CET.
