India Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Ratangarh: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

India Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya Ratangarh was set up in 2006 and is an affiliated College for women’s education in Churu Rajasthan. Situated at National Highway 11 on Jaipur Road, it occupies a compact area of 0.625 acres of land for its campus. The college specialises in teacher training; it only has a single undergraduate programme, the B.Ed. Total student enrollment at the college is 196 and faculty is 16 that makes the college to have a small scale. In addition, as a women’s college, it has the honor of preparing empowered female educators for the region.

To enhance the practical learning the India Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya Ratangarh  boasts of Generate science, psychology, and educational technology laboratories. The computer laboratory which is under the supervision of a competent computer personnel provides internet connection and assists in both theoretical and practical computer instruction. Physical education is also not ignored since the college has allotted one bigha to play grounds and has provided for indoor games. In response to lodgers from several regions, the college provides hostel facility for ladies. Other facilities include; a hall for events and seminars and canteen for group meals, alumni relations in the school continues to be an active part of the school system.

The academic specialty of the college is based on its B.Ed programme, with the aim of producing teachers. This is a two-year full-time course which has an approved annual student throughput with a maximum of one hundred students. The programme also focuses on providing students with the competencies needed when working in educational organisations. Thus, although the college has only one degree programme, it provides students with qualified approaches and experience through its facilities and practices.

Under graduate and post graduate courses admissions at India Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya are online counselling at university level for B.ED programme. The advantages of this process include making the selection process to be free from bias in order to have the candidates selected meeting the set qualifications and experience. The admission of prospective students is done based on their choices and performance based on admission criteria. Whereby candidates who have been selected fail to report in time, the college cancels the positions and reports the vacancies to the university.
