Indian College of Education for women is a women only college in teaching education which was established in 2005. This affiliated college situated in Bidar, Karnataka is recognised university by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which guarantees quality standards in the field of teacher education. The college occupies a fairly small territory of 4 acres, which allows providing the students with a concentrated educational experience in the sphere of pedagogy. The institute covers students intake of one hundred which makes the faculty strength to be sixteen allowing each student to be attended to depending on the needs of each in order to facilitate the necessary environment for academic success and professional learning.
Indian College of Education for women comprises of facilities which are aimed at improving the learning environment of the learners. As for the educational programmes, the Indian College of Education for Women established in Bidar mainly concerns the delivery of excellent quality in teacher education. The institute has only one full time course which is the Bachelors of Education commonly known as B.ED. This programme of study takes two years, and based on the capacity approval, it admits 100 students and yields a large number of intending teachers annually. The B.Ed course is a professional course, which gives learners the best preparation to be able to teach efficiently in their various fields.
Regarding admission policy of the Bidar Women’s Indian College of Education, it is declared that the college follows merit policy as per the norms of State Government, U.T. Administration of India and the University to which the college is affiliated. Students who wish to join the institutions are assessed on the results of the qualifying examination or entrance examination.

As per the pandemic academic situation are concerned the 2nd or 4th semesters are supposed to be held in the month of August to September.However it depends on college to college when they will conduct the semester examinations.Generally the timing is same for every college.
