Admissions to PG Diploma programmes in Project Management, Manufacturing Management and Industrial Engineering courses in National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) will be done on the basis of valid GATE scores.

Cutoff is the minimum score in the GATE exam that is required for shortlisting candidates for the selection process.
Shortlisting doesnot guarantee a seat to any candidate as the final selection is done on the basis of candidate's performance in the group discussion and personal interview. Past academic performance of the candidate is also evaluated.

Expected NITIE cutoff for GATE exam is 550+ for candidates belonging to the OBC NCL category.

Based on this score you should have the chance to get a call from National Institute of Industrial Engineering Mumbai. Along with CAT score the admission will be followed by a Group Discussion and personal Interview for the shortlisted candidates.

Some colleges would have kept cut offs just to take the students who score more and the cut off completely depends on that year students performance if may be increased or decreased too

Yes with 90 + in CAT you can get into NITIE, also try in some other colleges u might even get a better college.

GATE score is valid for a period of 3 years. So, if you wish to take admission in National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai you can take admission if you have a valid score which meets the eligibility criteria for taking admission in the institute.

If you have attempted GATE exam in 2015 or before, then you will have to attempt exam again and secure good marks to get admission in desired course.
