In our course, there were around 50 seats. It was quite hard for me to crack 3 rounds and get into IIMC. Due to corona, we did not receive a good placement drive, but there were certain media houses, where some of us got placed. Even after final results, our college is still ensuring placements for students. If you are an IIMC student, then you can have the best experience in nearby JNU, just a gate away. IIMC is the mecca of journalism, and every possible media exposure is provided to students along with destination visits.
Placement scenario is good. Top recruiting companies visit our campus for recruiting students like TOI,ABP news,Economic Times,All India Radio for various positions.About 75% Students got placed.Average salary package offered is 8 LPA.
