The IIP Bamer is the Indian Institute of Polytechnic, Barmer established as a premier technical institute for Asada-Balotra, Barmer in Rajasthan. This affiliated college was set up in 2010, and it has been training technical personnel for more than 10 years. IIP Barmer is located in a vast area of 5.2 acres of land, IIP Barmer is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. Currently, the institute controls 181 total students, and the faculty numbers are 35 and thus have a good strength of students in a teacher ratio. IIP Barmer provides four diploma programmes in Engineering, especially covering various technical segments of engineering and requirements of the industry.

Full time diploma courses offered by the institute are as follows: Four years full time diploma courses in engineering. Some of these programs are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering. The total approved intake for all the course is 420, therefore the dreams of the aspiring engineers are quite achievable. It also important to note that the most popular course is the Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 180 intakes, while the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering attracts 120 intakes while the remaining two; Civil and Electronics engineering programs offer 60 intakes each.
