Indira Priyadarshini College for Boys & Girls Chhindwara was established in the year 2001 which is affiliated college in Madhya Pradesh, India. Located opposite SAF Gate, Parasiya Road this institution has been offering education to the society for more than two decades. The college has 13 course selections total with 6 degrees all in the areas of arts and sciences. The college occupies a piece of land of 0.62 acres making it adequate for learning and development programmes. As for now, the population of the UTB includes 877 learners and 20 experienced faculty members providing a beneficial student-to-faculty ration for the students.

Indira Priyadarshini College boasts of having adequate equipage in the institutions that will help in facilitating the learning of its students. A college library is the central element of the subject specific academic resources; The college library currently holds over one thousand books and journals for various disciplines such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Management and Commerce among others. It also provides e-library services in view of corresponding trends in the teaching and learning environment. The college too conducts practical in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Zoology and Botany with a number of labs. The IT facilities are impressive – Wi-fi enabled campus and over 100 computers which entails to ensure that the students are relevant in the aspects of technology.

Under graduate and post graduate programmes are provided in every faculties at Indira Priyadarshini College. Some of the well known programmes are in BBA, B.Com (Computer & Economics), B.Sc in any one of the streams like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Application, Biotechnology, Microbiology etc., and M.Sc programmes in Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology. Further, the college offers M.Com and BA degree as well. All of these courses are available full time in order to show that this institution has good intentions of delivering quality education in all its areas of specialisation. The college’s student intake capacity sums up to 877, posing it for admission a large number of would be learners in every academic year.
