Affiliated college, Indore Mahavidyalaya, Jhabua started its journey in the year 1996 and is situated in Thandla Madhya Pradesh. This one is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and having NAAC accreditation. Having its own 2 acre campus, the college has three full time courses in education and a total enrolment capacity of 320 students. The institute raises a teaching staff of 36 members that offer a comfortable student-teacher ration. Indore Mahavidyalaya offers courses mainly in teacher education at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study.

Indore Mahavidyalaya is fully determined to make sure that its students receive a totality of what they desire to learn. This comprises a variety of amenities for learning, skills development, recreation and extra curricular activities. There is sufficient stock of books and journals in the library that covers most of the education courses offered. For practical learning, only the college offers departmental laboratories. The student satisfaction is catered for by having an available first aid facility and a fitness centre. The sports facilities promote stduents's health and cooperation. The college offers three full time course in the field of education. The programmes are a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and a Master of Education (M.Ed). The intake capacity as approved for each course is as follows 300 per year in total and 150 for D.El.Ed, 100 for B.Ed and 50 for M.Ed. These programmes are offered to meet the needs of the student who wants to enter the teaching profession through to the teacher who wants to gain further recognition in their profession.

The admission process at Indore Mahavidyalaya, Jhabua is merit based, marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. In the case of the D.El.Ed programme, admission is done according to the policy of the state government /UT administration. The B.Ed programme also undergoes the same process formulated by the state government, UT administration, and the university. For the M.Ed programme, there might be the entrance examination needed in accordance with the policy of the State Government, University or UT administration etc.
