The Institute of Language Teaching, Jamnagar, is a co-ed affiliated college for women in Gujarat, India, set up in the year 1985, with NCTE approval for the conduct of teacher education. Spread over 3 acres of area, the campus provides a focused learning environment for future teachers. The institute has a total student strength of 53 and a faculty of 6. The Institute of Language Teaching offers only one-degree course, the B.Ed., underlining its highly specialized approach towards training teachers.

The institute has a number of facilities that would improve the learning processes of the students. The library acts as a resource center that provides access to educational materials and literature. The hands-on learning in departmental laboratories forms an important part of practical training for the teachers. Events and seminars are held in the auditorium. Great relevance is also laid on technology integration since the IT infrastructure is excellent. It has sports facilities and a gym as an integral part of the campus for physical fitness and the well-being of students. As for the curricular aspects, ILT, Jamnagar is confined to  B.Ed. as such. It happens to be a two-year full-time course with the intention of equipping students professionally to teach. For this program, the institute has an intake capacity of 50 approved seats that permit only a few students per year to come and pursue their dreams of teaching. 

The admission to B.Ed. course of Institute of Language Teaching is offered by Saurashtra University Central Admission Board, that is to say, SUCAB. The applicants have to pass an entrance test, which forms the basis for admission.
