The Institute of Management and Technology, Westfort Higher Education Trust, Pottore was set up in the year 2004 which is an affiliated college at Thrissur, Kerala. Located in a small piece of land of 2.572 AC, this institute provides programmes of study in management and technology. Currently it is a small institute having total enrolment of 23 students and has faculty strength of 17. IMT Pottore, as it's commonly known, offers two postgraduate programmes: MBA and MCA courses each of which has an intake capacity of 60 students for admission and enrollment.

Institute of Management and Technology has a number of accommodations that make students’ experience in the institute a cherished one. It is a collection centre of management and technology literature in the form of periodicals, audio visual, and project reports. The library uses both the Dewy decimal system as well as a computerized cataloging system in its storage system. The campus has well equipped modern computer laboratories to enable the students acquire appropriate experience in the current programming tools within respective disciplines. To ensure students’ comfort the institute offers a separate hostels for boys and girl, giving them a chance to study and make friends. The campus cafeteria with section for multi-serving trendy food in a large dining area that encourages interaction between learners.

The courses offered at IMT Pottore makes them relevant with employment market requirements for academic programmes. The institute currently offers two full-time postgraduate programmes: Two years MBA and Two years MCA. Each of the programme has an approved enrolment capacity of 60 and 120 students in total across all courses.
