IMS was established in the year 1990 situated in Adhyatmik Nagar,Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) is one of the leading institute in education sector. Which also goes by the name IMS Ghaziabad UC or IMS UC is an affiliated college with a vast 2.6 acres area it occupies. Having 2130 total students and enrolling 60 faculty members, IMS functions as a broad university offering 7 different types of courses in 6 degree programmes. The campus also has facility of having different hostels for boys and girls having the amenities of Wi-Fi, reading rooms and sports facilities. 

In total the institute provides 7 courses which are all delivered as full-time programmes. These are Undergraduate programmes: BBA, BCA, BJMC, B.Sc Biotechnology (Hons), B.Sc Microbiology (Hons) and Postgraduate programmes: MIB, M.Sc Biotechnology. Although the distribution of the number of seats per programme is not defined, the total intake capacity for all the courses is 2130.
