Located in the colourful and diverse Thiruvananthapuram, this institute has been training future business leaders for more than thirty years. Recognized by the University Grants Commission UGC India; the institute is comprised of a plethora of current and relevant post graduation management courses relevant to the changing faces of the corporate sector.

Most of these have modern facilities which enhance the academic process of Institute of Management. Students are privileged to use a fully stocked library and resource centre, which contains a store of management literature and associated materials. Internet is available on the campus and student can use Wi-Fi for accessing the internet and complete laboratory and project work. For those who are inclined towards Physical fitness to maintain work life balance ,this facility of sports is also provided for using sports facilities. There is also an Auditorium within this institute is specifically used for the conduct of seminars, conferences, and cultural related activities. Bearing the essence of the Institute of Management as center the management programmes have emerged as one of the major academic products. Currently, the institute has four courses which main aim is to deliver different specialization within the management field. They include a full-time MBA programme, MBA in Tourism, MBA Evening Programme for the employed, and M.Phil in Management for the research oriented. The full time MBA and MBA Tourism courses each have an intake of 40 students in each batch which help to ensure personalised attention for the students. Analogously, with 8 completely experienced faculty members the institute offers a student-faculty ratio providing close student’s help and instruction.
