Institute of Science's Institute of Business Management and Research is in collaboration with the University of Pune established in 1984, ISBM&R is an acclaimed educational institute in the city of Pune, Maharashtra. Spread over an area of about 1.4 acres, this compact campus has acquired a niche in management education. ISBM&R, affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), provides quality education to business leaders. Institute of Science's Institute of Business Management and Research is well-fitted with numerous modern facilities that have been designed to enhance the learning experience of its students. For those who feel a need to keep fit, a well-equipped gym accommodation for up to 30 people is available at nominal costs. The flagship MBA programme forms the core of ISBM&R's academic offerings. The institute offers one postgraduate degree in an intake approved for 90 students. This is a two-year full-time curriculum that will ready the student for the high- and flexible dynamics within the world of business reality.

The admission process to ISBM&R is rigorous and competitive, designed to shortlist the best of the lot for its MBA programme. Before admitting students into its programmes, the institute insists that the candidate take one of the many entrance tests held across the nation. In other words, the institute looks for applicants who come with either the Common Admission Test (CAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), or the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test (MAH MBA CET). It assesses the applicants for their aptitude and preparedness to pursue management studies.
