International School of Design, Delhi: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

INSD or International School of Design is a private design university which opened its door in 2011 located in New Delhi, India. Located in Gujranwala Town, it is a private institution that has made its strategic positioning in the sphere of design education. INSD teaches 24 courses across 4 types of degree concerning to different branches of design. The institute offers design education based on its offered courses that include undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fashion design, graphic design, interior design and jewellery design.

As part of their educational needs, INSD offers a number of provisions to students in order to help them succeed. The institute has a library in design science and literature so that students can get every asset they need. There are departmental laboratories to make a real application with materials of designs and layouts. The computer facility is also effectively kept up by the college as well as students are given an opportunity to utilise modern designs and technologies. 

The International School of Design is equipped with a wide range of 24 programmes in design field. Among the courses offered at the institute there are 7 B.Des programmes, 6 M.Des programmes, 1 M.Sc programme, and 12 advanced diploma, and diploma programmes. All these programmes are full time. 

Admission to INSD is structured in a way to attract and encourage creativity amongst students. Some of the requirements include entrance test or interview, portfolio submissions and previous academic performance. In general, the institute take into consideration entrance test and/or portfolio, as well as results of previous examinations. This makes the institute to have programmes right from the diploma level to the post graduate level to cater to the students’ need as they continue with their design education. Many specialisations are available at INSD that focuses on fields of design such as B.Des Fashion Design, Graphic Design, M.Des Interior Design, Jewellery Design,M.Des Textile Design, and Animation are some among them.
