Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education, Nagpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

One of the well-known colleges of physical education, Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education, Nagpur, was instituted in the year 1960. This co-educational college, established at Hanuman Nagar, Nagpur, Maharashtra, is affiliated to the local university, also approved by NCTE. There are 10 acres of area in the campus which provides an appropriate setting for studies of Physical Education. The college has a total enrolment of 285 students and overall faculty strength of 2 and provides personal attention to its students. The college offers 3 courses under 2 degrees with specialization in the fields of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. 

The institution contains several facilities for its academic and athletic programmes. The library is fairly equipped and serves as the knowledge hub for the students and the faculty members. Sports facilities are extensive and support various athletic disciplines. The IT infrastructure in the college ensures that students get to use modern technology for their studies. An auditorium is provided for events and seminars, and departmental laboratories allow students to get first-hand experience. Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education offers three full-time programs in physical education: Bachelor of Physical Education, Master of Physical Education, and Bachelor of Physical Education. The college B.P.Ed takes 100, and the M.P.Ed. 

Admission procedure at Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education shall purely be on merit basis and considering the marks obtained in entrance examination and/or qualifying examination. The College will follow admission policy of the State Government of Maharashtra and parent university. Admission to B.P.Ed. M.P.ED. will purely be through selection process either with or without an entrance examination or any other criteria as prevalent from time to time.
